Lemhannas: Accelerating Economic Growth Strengthens National Resilience

Governor of the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) TB Ace Hasan Syadzily stated that accelerating national economic growth must continue to strengthen national resilience amid global geopolitical dynamics. ‘Amid geopolitical uncertainties impacting global geo-economics, we must adopt precise strategies to anticipate and bolster resilience through measured, prudent, and effective national economic policies,’ Ace Hasan said at Lemhannas building in Jakarta on Tuesday. He made the remarks while opening the 27th National Leadership Preparation Education Programme (P3N) seminar. He said the government must continuously strengthen the investment climate and business ease through enhanced inter-ministerial coordination to ensure sustainable business growth. Moreover, he stressed that fiscal, monetary, and financial sector policy synergy is crucial for maintaining stability amid global financial market volatility while driving economic growth. He also emphasised that optimism towards the national economy must be maintained through measured policy actions grounded in constitutional mandates, particularly Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. During the event, Ace also praised Indonesia’s Q1 2026 economic growth of 5.6%, despite the global economic slowdown. He said this achievement demonstrates Indonesia’s economic strength and resilience against global challenges. ‘This proves our economy is robust and resilient,’ he added. Ace also urged seminar participants to share strategic ideas and reflective thoughts on accelerating economic growth to bolster national resilience. He hopes the seminar will produce useful recommendations for the government and contribute concretely to strengthening the nation amid global geopolitical dynamics.
