Tourist attractions in the Lembang area are preparing for the long holiday beginning with Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. They hope this long holiday will boost tourism businesses across the region.

“We just hope for a busy influx of visitors,” said Perry Tristianto, owner of the Floating Market attraction, when confirmed on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. “As for preparedness, this long holiday isn’t the first or second time, it’s happened many times before, so we are ready.”

According to the Joint Decree (SKB) of three ministers numbered 1497 of 2025, 2 of 2025, and 5 of 2025, the government declared Wednesday, 27 May 2026 as the national holiday for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, with Thursday, 28 May 2026 designated as a collective holiday.

Friday, 29 May 2026 remains a working day, but the public can enjoy a longer weekend by taking additional leave on that day. The holiday period then continues through the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, followed by Pancasila Day on Monday, 1 June 2026, which is also a national holiday.

Perry stated that his attractions have implemented the Sapta Pesona standard, aimed at providing top-tier service to tourists, especially those visiting the village. This particularly focuses on safety and security.

Additionally, his attractions offer appealing features to keep visitors comfortable. The Floating Market provides a unique culinary experience with water-based shopping and dining, where visitors can find delicious and distinctive local cuisine.

Floating boats lined up on the lake sell food and drinks, ranging from traditional snacks like batagor, cilok, and siomay to main dishes such as nasi timbel, satay, grilled fish, boiled peanuts, and more. To enjoy the food at the Floating Market, which resembles Thailand’s floating market, visitors use a special coin-based transaction system purchased at designated booths.

Several coin denominations are available, including Rp5,000, Rp10,000, and Rp20,000. Besides the Floating Market, visitors can enjoy various attractions such as different types of boats, flying fox, rainbow slide, mini tricycles, ATV rides, go-karts, rainbow garden, and more.

“We are fully prepared to welcome this long holiday,” Perry said. “Visitors can enjoy Lembang’s cool air while dining and experiencing the attractions.”
