Lego marks the 40th anniversary of the BMW M3 E30 with a new miniature model

Lego is marking the 40th anniversary of the BMW M3 E30 by introducing a new miniature model in its Lego Speed Champions line. The model was developed through direct collaboration between the Lego design team and BMW at BMW’s headquarters in Germany to create a replica of the E30 M3 as detailed as possible. Carscoops reported on Friday local time. Will Thorogood, Head of Design New Business at the Lego Group, and his team worked to replicate the E30 M3’s iconic details, including the kidney grille crafted from two small fork-shaped components. Michael Scully, Head of Design for BMW M, said the livery design was inspired by LEGO brick construction and references the past and present colours of BMW M Motorsport racing. The Lego Speed Champions BMW M3 E30 is scheduled to go on sale on 1 August 2026, priced at US$29.99 (about Rp530,000) in the United States or €27.99 in Europe.
