Legislator and Bazis Distribute Aid to Fire Victims in North Jakarta

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Zakat Collection Agency (Baznas) North Jakarta City Zakat, Infak, and Alms Collection Body (Bazis), together with DKI Jakarta DPRD member Bebizie Sri Mulyati, distributed house renovation aid to fire victims in Swasembada Barat, Kebon Bawang Ward, Tanjung Priok Subdistrict.

“I, along with Bazis Jakarta Utara, the city council, the Kebon Bawang Ward Head, and others, handed over additional funds for rebuilding the homes of the affected mother and father. I hope it can be utilised well,” said Bebizie, a member of Commission B of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, in Jakarta on Thursday.

She stated that the distribution of aid was a follow-up to her visit to the fire victims’ homes some time ago.

Bebizie provided the aid personally and promised to assist the fire victims through Bazis Jakarta Utara.

Meanwhile, Kebon Bawang Ward Head Febrio Eka Putra appreciated the aid and attention given.

“The attention provided, from post-fire until now, continues to support the victims in rising again,” Febrio remarked.

In agreement, fire victim Wahyudi also expressed thanks for the aid and support provided.

“Thank you to Mrs Bebizie and the Bazis Jakarta Utara team for helping me through this difficult time. I hope this aid can be utilised well to rebuild my home,” Wahyudi said.
