Legislative Body Agrees to Bring One Data Bill to Plenary as DPR Initiative

The House of Representatives’ Legislative Body (Baleg) held a plenary meeting to decide on the One Data Indonesia Bill as a proposed DPR initiative. The result was that all factions agreed to bring the bill to a plenary session for ratification as a DPR initiative. The plenary meeting was held in the Baleg meeting room at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/7/2026). The meeting was chaired directly by the Head of Baleg, Bob Hasan. Initially, Bob invited all factions to present their views on the One Data Indonesia Bill. All factions subsequently approved the bill to be brought to a plenary session for ratification as a DPR-initiated bill. Bob then asked the meeting forum again, and all attending Baleg members agreed. ‘Furthermore, we ask for the meeting’s approval on whether the results of the drafting of the One Data Indonesia Bill can be processed further in accordance with the laws and regulations?’ Bob asked. ‘Agreed,’ the meeting forum replied. Following the approval, the Baleg then signed the draft of the bill. The bill will subsequently be brought to the nearest plenary session for ratification as a DPR-initiated bill.
