It is hard to understand why the police, amid the grave
monetary crisis and other assorted national problems, has
suddenly arrested several public prosecutors for alleged
wrongdoing.

Inevitably, this incident has given rise to several
interpretations. Among these are that something concealed from
the public has occurred in the relationship between the police
and the Attorney General's Office, such as the unequal
distribution of fees, or another type of misunderstanding. But
let us not forget they are both law-enforcement agencies.

The question now is where should the people go in search of
justice if, as it appears, these two government agencies are now
suspicious of each other.
