Constitutional Court Justice Anwar Usman “collapsed” after attending the retirement ceremony at the Constitutional Court building in Jakarta on Monday.
The justice, who had served for 15 years at the Constitutional Court, appeared weak while walking from the court hall to the front lobby.
During the procession, Anwar was seen being supported by his wife and court staff with slow steps.
The Attorney General’s Office mutates 65 district prosecutors, including Karo
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has mutated the positions of 65 district chief prosecutors (Kajari), one of whom is the Chief Prosecutor of Karo.
“Mutations are commonplace and carried out continuously by ministries/institutions. Naturally, they include mutations, promotions, and demotions,” said Head of the Legal Information Centre (Kapuspenkum) of the AGO Anang Supriatna in Jakarta on Tuesday.
This mutation of Kajari is contained in the Decree of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia Number KEP-IV-347/C/04/2026 dated 13 April 2026 and signed by the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision (Jamwas) Hendro Dewanto on behalf of the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Sulawesi Tenggara Directorate General of Corrections transfers viral inmate at coffee shop to Nusakambangan
The Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas) for South East Sulawesi (Sultra) has transferred the convict who went viral for lounging at a coffee shop in the former MT Kendari area, Sultra, to Nusakambangan Prison.

The Attorney General’s Office names Ombudsman Chairman Hery Susanto as suspect in nickel corruption
The Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has named the Chairman of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2026-2031 period, Hery Susanto, as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in nickel mining business governance activities from 2013 to 2025.
The Director of Investigation (Dirdik) of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the AGO stated that Hery committed the alleged criminal act while serving as a Commissioner of the Ombudsman RI for the 2021-2026 period.
“The determination of the suspect was made after the investigation team obtained sufficient evidence through a series of investigation actions, searches, and others,” he said at the Jampidsus AGO building in Jakarta on Thursday.
Riau Islands Regional Police imposes dishonourable discharge on four personnel in Bripda NS case
The Riau Islands Regional Police (Polda Kepri) has imposed the sanction of dishonourable dismissal (PTDH) on four personnel related to the assault case that resulted in the death of Bripda NS.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Kepri Senior Commissioner Nona Pricillia Ohei stated that the four personnel are initialled AS, AP, GSP, and MA.
“The violators have been imposed sanctions in accordance with applicable provisions. Ethical sanctions for violation behaviour, as well as administrative sanctions in the form of dishonourable dismissal from Polri service,” Nona said when contacted in Batam on Saturday.
