- Polri to evaluate national one way, opening possibility of termination
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of Polri, together with relevant stakeholders, will evaluate the implementation of the national one way on KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road up to KM 414 Kalikangkung Semarang, and open the possibility that this traffic engineering will be discontinued.
“The national one way opened on 18 March will be evaluated by us tomorrow morning (Saturday (21/3)),” said the Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Inspector General of Police Agus Suryonugroho in Jakarta on Friday.
- Four people killed in accident on Pejagan-Tegal toll road
Tegal (ANTARA) - An accident involving a Calya minibus and a bus on the Pejagan Tegal Toll Road, KM 290 B, Central Java, on Thursday, resulted in four people dying.
The Head of the Traffic Unit of the Tegal Resort Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police Bharatungga Dgaruning Pawuri, said that the preliminary suspicion is that the accident was caused by the Calya driver dozing off.
- Korlantas Polri prepares national one way for peak return flow
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of Polri is preparing a one-way traffic engineering or national one way for the peak Eid return flow, predicted to occur on 24 March 2026.
“On the 24th, when the mudik flow prediction with the traffic counting at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, we will implement the national one way for the return flow,” said the Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of Polri, Inspector General of Police Agus Suryonugroho, at the Command Center Post KM 29 Cikampek Toll Road, West Java, on Friday.
- Police Chief reveals decline in accidents and fatalities during 2026 Eid homecoming
Jakarta (ANTARA) - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo revealed that the number of traffic accidents decreased by 3.23 percent during the 2026 Eid homecoming flow.
This was stated by Sigit along with all relevant stakeholders after conducting monitoring of the security for the Eid Takbiran night at the Integrated Post Merdeka Field of the Medan Police Station, North Sumatra, on Friday night.
- KPK facilitates 67 detainees to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers, including Yaqut
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) facilitated 67 detainees in alleged corruption cases to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers 1447 Hijriah/2026 CE.
One of the 67 detainees includes two suspects in the alleged corruption case of hajj quotas, namely former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas and former Special Staff to the Minister of Religious Affairs Ishfah Abidal Aziz alias Gus Alex.
