Lecture or Idul Fitri service?

Lecture or Idul Fitri service?

From Republika

I was moved emotionally by several things when I watched the Idul Fitri prayer ritual at Senayan's parking lot on SCTV.

Firstly, it struck me that the recent spate of religious programs was nothing but God's will. God moved the Moslem community to spread the teachings and to thoroughly develop the religion in all its glory.

Secondly, I have the impression that the pinnacle of Moslem activities in Indonesia only seems to occur around Idul Fitri. Indeed, every year it has taken on more national overtones. However, wouldn't it be better if this activity became a stepping stone to the ultimate summit, i.e. aqabah, as mentioned in the Koran, verse al Balad (90); 11-16.

Thirdly, I have a question for KH Zainuddin MZ. Are the issues you spoke about during the Idul Fitri ritual, and every year before at the Senayan parking lot, part of a lecture or a sermon for Idul Fitri? If it was a sermon, why didn't it meet the terms of a sermon in concluding Ied ritual prayers, as laid down in syariat/fiqih (basic Islamic lore)?

If it was a lecture, what legal source did it refer to whereby Idul Fitri prayers or Idul Adha could be finalized with a lecture?

I am raising this matter through the media, so that in the enthusiasm of religious ritual glorification, the terms and rules of a prayer ritual will not be overshadowed as the Rasulullah, friends, and leaders of Mazhab, Salaf and Khalaf religious leaders have taught us. Even so, there should be compulsory prayers and sunah devotion, which follows the practices of the prophet and is not compulsory.
