“During the Idul Fitri H-day to H+3 period (21-24 March 2026), 239,383 vehicles were recorded passing towards Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate,” said Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in her statement on Wednesday (25/3/2026).
She stated that this traffic volume increased significantly by 108.44% compared to normal traffic of 114,843 vehicles. She added that the return flow movement is still ongoing and is expected to continue rising.
“Meanwhile, based on traffic data from H-10 to H+3 (11-24 March 2026), 415,448 vehicles were recorded from the eastern Trans-Java region, an increase of 6.45% from normal traffic of 390,288 vehicles. For the shift 1 data on 25 March 2026, 23,921 vehicles were recorded, up 193.15% from the normal 8,160 vehicles,” she said.
Ria mentioned that Jasa Marga, together with the police, temporarily implemented a one-way operation from KM 263 of the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road to KM 70 of the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road. Additionally, situational local one-way openings and closures from KM 425+800 of the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C to KM 414 of the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road were also carried out to maintain smooth traffic along the Trans-Java Toll Road sections.
“To anticipate the increase in vehicle volume during the return flow, JTT provides alternative travel options that road users can utilise by re-implementing a 30% toll discount for continuous journeys from the Kalikangkung Toll Gate on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road to the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from 26 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB until 27 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB,” she explained.
“Additionally, a 23% toll discount for all transactions on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road remains in effect from 12 March to 31 March 2026. This policy is expected to help distribute traffic more evenly while providing direct benefits to road users,” she added.
Meanwhile, vehicles heading to the Eastern Trans-Java region via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate totalled 184,146 vehicles, an increase of 65.88% compared to normal traffic of 111,011 vehicles. Increases in vehicle volume were also observed on several toll road sections managed by the JTT Group in Central Java and East Java.
