Lebaran Homecoming 2026: 423,965 Train Tickets from Jakarta Still Available to Book

A total of 423,965 train tickets for Lebaran homecoming in 2026 from Jakarta are still available to the public. Public Relations Manager for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, said that the departure period 11 to 20 March 2026 was the period of highest sales, with 422,274 tickets sold to the public. On several popular dates, remaining seats were already very limited and nearing full. For example, on 18 March only 2,435 seats remained, then 20 March 2,708 seats remained, and 19 March 2,998 seats remained, said Franoto in an official statement, Sunday (8 March 2026).

As of 8 March 2026, 625,231 tickets had been sold, or reserved, from a total of 1,076,196 seats provided for departures from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen. With this achievement, the current occupancy rate stands at 58 percent.

Executive: total capacity 510,527 seats, 268,587 seats remaining

Economy Commercial: total capacity 446,965 seats, 144,227 seats remaining

Economy PSO: total capacity 118,704 seats, 38,142 seats remaining.

Meanwhile, by travel period, for departures 11–20 March, remaining seats total 81,797; and 21–22 March remaining 22,429 seats. For departures from 23 March to 1 April, tickets still available total 364,730 seats.

Through the Mudik Promotion, customers can obtain discounts of up to 30 percent for tickets purchased on 9 March 2026 for departures between 9 and 20 March 2026, subject to terms and conditions.
