Cirebon (ANTARA) — The Cirebon District Health Office in West Java has activated 20 health service posts along several key routes to provide medical services to travellers during the Lebaran exodus and return migration in 2026.

Eni Suhaeni, Head of the Cirebon District Health Office, stated that the health service posts have been positioned on both toll roads and the Pantura arterial route, which are expected to be heavily used by migrating travellers.

She explained that the health posts aim to ensure that travellers passing through Cirebon District can obtain medical services during their journeys back to their hometowns.

“We are establishing health service posts and placing medical personnel at numerous points that will be used by travellers,” she said.

Suhaeni noted that 11 health posts have been set up on the main Pantura route, which is frequently used by vehicles carrying migrants. These locations include Bunder, Junjang, Kedawung, Kapetakan, Celancang, Pasar Mundu, Kanci Toll Exit, Gebang, and Losari.

“We have placed four posts on the toll roads at rest areas at km 207A, km 208B, km 228A, and km 229B,” she added.

The Cirebon District Health Office has mobilised approximately 3,000 healthcare workers to support the operation of these posts.

Suhaeni stated that healthcare personnel will work in shifts across three time periods—morning, afternoon, and evening—ensuring that health services are available for 24 hours.

“Healthcare support also involves 60 primary health centres, 13 hospitals, 85 basic clinics, and 25 main clinics in Cirebon District, all of which are ready to assist with emergency medical responses during the Lebaran exodus,” she said.
