Lebaran 2026 Travel by DAMRI: New Women-Only Seating Feature Launched

DAMRI has introduced the Pink Zone feature, a seat selection tool for female passengers on its buses. This innovation provides enhanced comfort for women travelling alone, especially during the Lebaran 2026 holiday season.

Through the Pink Zone feature, female passengers can select specially marked seats when booking via the DAMRI Apps. This allows them to sit alongside other female passengers, offering greater peace of mind when travelling solo during peak travel periods.

“The Pink Zone feature enables female customers to choose designated seats during booking on DAMRI Apps. This gives customers seating preferences that better suit their needs, particularly when travelling alone during the Lebaran period,” said P. Septian Adri S., DAMRI’s Head of Corporate Communication.

In the DAMRI Apps booking interface, seats selected by female passengers are displayed in pink, available seats are shown in white, seats occupied by male passengers appear in grey, and seats currently being selected are highlighted in yellow. This colour-coding system provides transparency when selecting seats.

The Pink Zone feature is available exclusively through DAMRI Apps bookings and applies to services with seat selection systems, including AKAP (intercity buses), AKDP (long-distance regional buses), and international bus services.

“We understand that comfort is crucial, especially for female passengers making long-distance journeys during Lebaran. Through Pink Zone, DAMRI aims to provide a safer, more comfortable travel experience tailored to customer needs,” Septian explained.

By combining the safety feature with competitive pricing and promotional ticket offers, female passengers can plan their Lebaran travels with greater confidence. “DAMRI wants to ensure that Lebaran travel is not only safe and comfortable, but also remains affordable. With the Pink Zone feature and ticket promotions, customers can travel with more confidence and peace of mind, starting from the ticket booking stage,” Septian added.
