Lebaran 2026 Train Ticket Promotion: Jakarta-Yogyakarta Starts from Rp 500,000

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta is offering a promotion for Lebaran 2026 train tickets, consisting of a 20 per cent discount on executive class train tickets. This promotion is valid during the booking period from 25 March to 1 April 2026. “We are presenting this promotion for departures from 25 March to 1 April 2026 so that the public can experience more affordable train travel without reducing aspects of comfort and service,” said Manager of Public Relations for KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, in an official statement, quoted on Friday (27/3/2026). Through this programme, he added, customers can enjoy more friendly fares for a number of popular routes. For the period 27 March to 1 April 2026, approximately 100,000 executive class train seats are available from the Daop 1 Jakarta region. To date, he added, the number of promotional tickets sold is recorded at 20,314 tickets. KAI urges the public to immediately book tickets through official channels to take advantage of the promotion before the quota runs out. Franoto also said that passenger movement in the Daop 1 Jakarta region shows a high trend. On Friday (27/3/2026) until 15:00 WIB, the volume of long-distance train passenger departures reached 32,700 people, while the number of arrivals was recorded at 52,587 people. The total number of long-distance train tickets sold for the period 11 March to 1 April 2026 reaches 895,617 tickets, out of a provided capacity of 1,083,623 seats. “Through various programmes presented, KAI hopes to continue supporting public mobility during the Lebaran moment with safe, comfortable, and increasingly affordable transportation services,” said Franoto.
