Lebaran 2026 Traffic Management on Central Java Toll Roads: One-Way and Odd–Even Implemented
SOLO, KOMPAS.com – The government will apply traffic management in the form of a one-way system and an odd-even policy on the Central Java toll road corridors during the Lebaran 2026 peak travel and return periods. The policy references a Joint Decree (Surat Keputusan Bersama - SKB) signed by three ministers aimed at ensuring smooth traffic during the Lebaran holidays. According to a post on the official Instagram account @satlantasressragen on Thursday 5 March 2026, during the outbound period the one-way system will run from Tuesday 17 March 2026 at 12:00 WIB to Friday 20 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB. The traffic engineering applies from KM 70 of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road to KM 421 of the Semarang–Solo Toll Road. The direction for the return flow starts from KM 421 of the Semarang–Solo Toll Road towards KM 70 of the Jakarta–Cikampek Toll Road. In addition to the one-way system, police may implement a local one-way from Kalikangkung to Boyolali. The policy is situational and will be applied at police discretion accounting for on-site traffic density. There are exemptions for certain goods transport operations. Essential goods include rice, flour, corn, sugar, vegetables and fruit, meat, fish, poultry, cooking oil, butter, milk, eggs, salt, soybeans, and onions. Members of the public planning to travel for mudik are urged to obey traffic regulations, follow road signs and officers’ directions, and ensure their vehicles are in good condition before setting off.
