Lebaran 2026 toll tariff discounts on 29 toll roads, note the dates

The government has officially announced Lebaran 2026 toll tariff discounts of up to 30 per cent on 29 toll roads. The policy aims to encourage people to depart earlier, so that outward and return traffic flows are smoother and the risk of congestion at the peak of Lebaran can be reduced. The peak of homecoming (mudik) traffic this year is predicted to occur on 18 March 2026. However, some toll roads have special schedules: Ensure your electronic money balance is sufficient, as the discount does not apply if the transaction fails due to insufficient balance or unreadable card. Dody added that the incentive is expected to encourage more four-wheeled vehicles to use the toll roads, thereby reducing the load on the national roads and keeping traffic flowing. For information, the toll discount is part of an economic stimulus worth Rp 12.83 trillion. In addition to encouraging people to depart earlier, the policy also helps preserve purchasing power, ensures a more even distribution of traffic, and makes Lebaran mudik (homecoming) journeys more comfortable, safe, and smooth.
