JAKARTA - Return traffic following Lebaran 2026 is beginning to show a decline in vehicle volume. As traffic conditions become increasingly conducive, traffic engineering measures in the form of one-way schemes are being halted gradually.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is carrying out gradual lane normalisation up to the Palimanan-Kanci toll road section (Palikanci), based on police discretion.

Previously, local one-way traffic engineering had been implemented from KM 263 of the Pejagan-Pemalang toll road section to KM 70 of the Cikampek Utama toll gate.

During the normalisation process, access towards Java is also being prepared through the Ciperna Barat toll gate as part of the stages to return traffic conditions to normal.

Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the normalisation steps are being taken in line with developments in on-site conditions.

“JTT, together with the police, is consistently monitoring vehicle volume developments in the field. Lane normalisation is being carried out gradually as traffic conditions become increasingly conducive, while still prioritising aspects of safety and comfort for road users,” said Ria, quoted from an official statement on Monday (30/03/2026).

JTT also ensures that all operational services remain on standby, including monitoring through the information control centre and real-time CCTV support along the toll sections.

Field officers are also deployed to anticipate any traffic dynamics that may still occur during the return traffic period.

JTT advises road users to plan their journeys well and ensure their vehicles are in prime condition before travelling.

Additionally, road users are asked to ensure sufficient electronic money balances and to comply with signs and instructions from officers in the field.
