Lebaran 2026 Return Flow Completed, 3.38 Million Vehicles Return to Jabodetabek
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The return flow for Lebaran 2026 towards Jabodetabek is almost entirely complete. Jasa Marga recorded a total of 3.38 million vehicles returning by H+10 after Idulfitri. This figure is an accumulation of traffic from four main toll gates and functional routes. The counting period ran from 11–31 March 2026. The President Director of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Rivan A. Purwantono, explained that vehicle distribution was dominated from the east. “For the return traffic distribution to Jabodetabek from three directions, the majority was 1.6 million vehicles (48.5 percent) from the East (Trans-Java and Bandung), 977,758 vehicles (28.9 percent) from the West (Merak), and 765,626 vehicles (22.6 percent) from the South (Puncak),” said Rivan in an official statement on Thursday (2/4/2026). This number rose 51.0 percent compared to normal conditions. The flow from Bandung via the Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate and the Japek II South Functional Route recorded 687,461 vehicles. This figure increased by 3.2 percent from normal conditions. The Japek II South Functional Route was also used as an alternative. Vehicle volume on this route reached 69,162 units. The total flow from Trans-Java and Bandung reached 1,640,413 vehicles. This increased by 31.1 percent compared to normal conditions. The flow from the south via the Ciawi Toll Gate reached 765,626 vehicles. This rose by 3.2 percent compared to normal conditions. On H+10 Lebaran or 31 March 2026, the vehicle volume reached 147,964 units. This increased by 14.9 percent compared to normal conditions of 128,802 vehicles. Cumulatively, the total of 3.38 million vehicles equates to 99.7 percent of the projection of 3.39 million vehicles during the return flow period. “Based on this data, it can be concluded that the return flow period for the long Idulfitri 1447H/2026 holiday has ended, in line with nearly all of the projected vehicle volume having returned to the Jabodetabek area,” said Rivan. “Traffic conditions in general are also monitored to have returned to normal on several main toll roads of the Jasa Marga Group, particularly the Trans-Java direction towards the Jabodetabek area,” emphasised Rivan.
