Lebaran 2026 More Economical: Ride LRT Jabodebek for Just Rp1 on These Days
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has officially implemented a special fare of Rp1 for the LRT Jabodebek service on the first day (H1) and second day (H2) of Lebaran 2026. This policy follows government regulations as an effort to ease public mobility during the Lebaran holiday period.
This low-fare programme is intended to support the travel needs of the public, both for family visits and recreational activities, by utilising safe, comfortable, and integrated public transportation modes.
During that period, KAI will operate 270 LRT Jabodebek trips each day to ensure smooth passenger movement.
LRT Jabodebek Public Relations Manager, Radhitya Mardika, explained that the Rp1 fare policy is part of the company’s commitment to providing affordable and accessible public transportation services to the wider community.
“With the Rp1 fare, the public can utilise LRT Jabodebek as a mobility option during Lebaran, both for family visits and touring urban areas,” said Radhitya.
As preparation for the passenger surge, LRT Jabodebek is also strengthening services, both at stations and on board the trains. These steps include adding staff numbers, managing user flow, and optimising the ticketing system to keep operations running smoothly.
In addition, security and comfort aspects are prioritised through the placement of service and security personnel at all operational points during the Lebaran period.
The implementation of the Rp1 fare also reaffirms LRT Jabodebek’s position as one of the flagship public transport options in urban areas, particularly in supporting public mobility during the Lebaran momentum.
“LRT Jabodebek is expected to be part of the public’s journey during Lebaran, both for family visits and enjoying various destinations in the urban area,” Radhitya concluded.
