Lebaran 2026 Homecoming Traffic: Local One-Way Scheme Applies from Km 425 to 414 Kalikangkung

JAKARTA - A local one-way traffic engineering scheme has been reintroduced on the Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, and C, extending to the Batang-Semarang Toll Road. The one-way system is applied from Km 425+800 to Km 414 at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate since 10:12 WIB to ease the density of the Lebaran 2026 homecoming traffic. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the company fully supports the traffic engineering measures set by the police, ensuring operational readiness on the ground. “We have prepared various steps agreed upon with the police. To alleviate congestion on the Semarang toll road route, a one-way traffic engineering scheme is being implemented,” Ria said in her official statement on Tuesday (24/3/2026). To smooth the implementation of the local one-way system, Ria added, the company has deployed operational personnel and ensured the readiness of facilities and infrastructure. In supporting operational smoothness, JTT has ensured the readiness of transaction services at the toll gates, with a total of nine toll gates equipped with 37 toll booths and OAB, as well as support from 17 mobile reader units to speed up vehicle transaction processes. “Road users are also urged to utilise rest areas wisely and rest if they feel tired so that the journey remains safe and comfortable until the destination,” Ria said.
