Lebaran 1447 H: Cross-Border Activities at Entikong PLBN Surge Sharply

The Pos Lintas Batas Negara (PLBN) Entikong has shown a trend of increasing cross-border activities on H-3 ahead of Lebaran 2026. Head of PLBN Entikong, Teguh Priyadi, revealed that on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, the number of border crossers recorded reached 2,121 people. This increase coincides with the Nyepi and Lebaran 2026 holiday period, which is driving public mobility in the Indonesia-Malaysia border area.

“The flow of crossings began to appear to increase on H-3 Lebaran. Today, we recorded 2,121 people crossing through PLBN Entikong,” Teguh stated in a received statement (20/3).

Cumulatively, since the Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Idulfitri 2026 began operating on Friday, 13 March 2026, until H-3 Lebaran, PLBN Entikong has recorded a total of 9,568 border crossers. Of this number, 3,719 people were recorded through the departure route, while 5,849 people through the arrival route.

Teguh assessed that the existence of the Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Idulfitri 2026 plays an important role in maintaining the smoothness and security of the crossing flow. He expressed appreciation for the cross-sector synergy that has been established during the integrated service period.

“We appreciate the Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Idulfitri 2026 at PLBN Entikong, which is running optimally in supervising and ensuring that the cross-border homecoming flow proceeds safely and smoothly,” he said.

Furthermore, Teguh explained that the integrated service post, initiated by Polsek Entikong, also provides emergency services through the 110 call centre. This service is prepared to respond quickly to any public complaints related to the crossing of people, goods, or vehicles.

“We are collaborating with Polsek Entikong to provide the 110 call centre service. In addition, ambulance units are available, as well as support from cross-agency personnel and Forkopimcam who are always on standby every day in the PLBN Entikong area,” he emphasised.
