Learning No Longer Bound by Walls: Cyber University Students Invited to Explore the World via Edutrip
Who says learning must always involve sitting in a classroom staring at a presentation screen? Cyber University, known as the campus ‘Shaping Future Digital Leaders’, has adopted a different approach to expanding student horizons through the EduTrip Programme Batch 3, which will take participants to explore Singapore and Malaysia from 2–5 November 2026.
This programme is designed to provide a more exciting and memorable learning experience. Students will not only visit iconic destinations but also observe the atmosphere of international campuses and engage with different cultures. During the trip, participants will take part in a Singapore City Tour, visit Singapore Management University (SMU), conduct campus visits to Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL), and explore various famous landmarks in Kuala Lumpur.
Under the concept of ‘Build Your International Network’, this activity serves as an opportunity for students to expand their professional relationships and global insights. The Head of Cyber University, Ibnu Alfarobi, stated that direct experience such as this holds value that cannot be replaced by classroom learning.
According to Ibnu, learning does not always have to take place behind a desk. Sometimes, the best experiences come when students see the world firsthand, meet new people, and experience different environments. ‘Through this EduTrip, we want students to gain experiences that broaden their horizons while fostering the confidence to compete on a global level,’ he said in a statement.
He explained that today’s students need to possess an open mindset and be prepared to face an increasingly connected world. Therefore, the opportunity to learn in an international environment is an essential asset. ‘We want students to return not just with travel photos, but with stories, experiences, knowledge, and networks that can benefit their future,’ Ibnu added.
In addition to academic and educational tourism activities, participants will receive various facilities, including flight tickets, local transport, hotel accommodation, meals, and assistance throughout the programme. Through EduTrip Batch 3, Cyber University reaffirms its commitment to providing learning experiences that are closely connected to the real world. In today’s era of globalisation, learning is no longer confined by walls, but is as vast as the world itself, ready to be explored.
