Leaked Date for Huawei Nova 16 Series Debut Revealed

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Huawei is said to be ready to launch its Nova 16 series of smartphones, and leaks about the possible release date have now emerged.

As reported by Gizmochina on Sunday, this news comes from technology leaker Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo, who claims that the Nova 16 series may be released on 1 June 2026.

This date has not yet been officially confirmed by Huawei but serves as a reference point to anticipate the arrival of these phones in the near future.

Based on different technology leakers, the Nova 16 Pro Max is likely to be equipped with a 200 MP main camera with a large 1/1.28-inch sensor.

These new leaks complement previously circulating information, including the model line of the Nova 16 series and camera specifications.

The Nova 16 and Nova 16 Pro are expected to be available in three colours: blue, black, and white, with a gradient touch. The top-end Pro Max model will not have this gradient touch but will still be available in the same three colour options.

The Nova 16 Pro Max variant is also rumoured to feature a 6.84-inch (17.4 cm) screen with an LTPO panel and a Kirin 9000 series chip. The battery is believed to be 7000 mAh.

For reference, in the previous generation, Huawei Nova 15, Huawei included two types of chips: Kirin 8020 and Kirin 9010.

The phone series was priced starting from 2699 Yuan (around IDR 6.9 million), with the top variant, the Nova 15 Ultra, focusing on major redesigns in physical design rather than performance-enhancing specification upgrades.
