Leak of GAC's New Models for Indonesia

BEIJING - The Chinese automaker GAC Group has indicated it will add to its product line in Indonesia in the near future. Several new models are being prepared to bolster penetration in the fast-developing new energy vehicle (NEV) market. “Products are the key to success in the automotive industry, and media friends have already seen two types that have been launched, and we will accelerate the launch in Indonesia,” he said in Beijing, China, last weekend. Although not explicit, the presence of these new models is suspected to point towards the GAC Aion i60 and Aion N60, which were previously launched in China on 16 April 2026 and have undergone a global launch. Haigang added that GAC’s strategy remains focused on product quality and the diversity of models offered. “So we will continue to focus on quality and make good cars in Indonesia for several product types,” said Haigang.
