INFO TEMPO — The Ramadan month provides an opportunity for various parties to strengthen social responsibility through sharing with communities. In that spirit, Le Minerale once again demonstrates its commitment as a long-term partner of Istiqlal Mosque by organising a sharing programme for worshippers.

The event, titled ‘Together with Istiqlal, Le Minerale Shares Ramadan Kindness’, was held at the Istiqlal Mosque forecourt in Jakarta on Wednesday, 4 March 2026. During the event, Le Minerale distributed 5,000 bottles of mineral water and iftar meal packages for worshippers present.

Director General of Istiqlal Global Fund (IGF), Ahsanul Haq, said the collaboration between Istiqlal Mosque and Le Minerale reflects the synergy between religious institutions and the business world in building a sustainable ecosystem of goodness. He said the partnership is not only about social activities but also supports various empowerment programmes for the community around the mosque.

‘This collaboration reflects the synergy between religious institutions and domestic industry to build a sustainable ecosystem of goodness, while reinforcing the values of mutual cooperation and solidarity,’ Ahsanul said.

He explained that through IGF, Istiqlal Mosque runs various economic empowerment programmes, including coaching for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) around the mosque and MSMEs belonging to worshippers.

According to Ahsanul, the collaboration with Le Minerale, which operates under the Mayora Group, has led to a number of programmes, including development of the culinary area within the mosque’s surroundings, an Umrah programme for the marbots (mosque caretakers), and scholarships for high-achieving children of marbots.

The mosque also appreciates Le Minerale’s support for the various empowerment programmes.

‘As the state mosque that serves thousands of worshippers each day, we have a responsibility to provide the best service, including a supply of clean and trusted drinking water, especially during Ramadan,’ Ahsanul said.

Le Minerale Marketing Director Febri Satria Hutama said the collaboration with Istiqlal is part of the company’s commitment to continuing to deliver sustainable benefits to society. He noted that Le Minerale, as an Indonesian product, aims to be part of Istiqlal’s journey—not only as a place of worship but also as a centre for social activities and community empowerment.

‘Le Minerale’s presence is not merely about supporting activities, but part of Istiqlal’s journey that is a source of pride for Indonesian Muslims and a symbol of national unity,’ Febri said.

Through this collaboration, Le Minerale and Istiqlal hope the Ramadan sharing spirit can continue to strengthen social care and solidarity within society.
