Le Meridien observes French National Day

As a part of the French community in Jakarta for the last five years, the management and staff of Le Meridien Jakarta wish to congratulate all the French community on the celebration of their Nation Day, and thank them for their continuing support.

Le Meridien Jakarta has reached a milestone in its life of providing European hospitality with a French touch to both Jakarta residents and visitors alike.

The hotel celebrated five years of operation earlier this year and is now looking to the opening of the new tower with its additional facilities, later this year.

The development of the new tower is a result of the hotel's success over the past years, and a substantial vote of confidence in the future of Jakarta.

Le Meridien has a fine history of providing quality rooms and service to guests. The current range of deluxe, executive one and two rooms and suites will be complimented by the stunning Club President floors in the new wing.

Occupying the top five floors of the tower, Club President will bring a superb level of service and facilities to the executive traveler.

The Club lounge, located on the 20th level, with stunning views over Jakarta will be complete with meeting rooms, boardroom, 24-hour business center and library facilities.

Breakfast and evening cocktails will also be provided for Club President guests.

The new facilities will also include a Lebanese restaurant (the first in Jakarta), two floors of health club and spa, and Tiga Puluh-a sensational music bar with live bands which will open in early 1998.

The existing hotel outlets will, of course, continue to provide the excellence in cuisine and service for which they are renown.

La Brasserie, with Indonesian, Asian and regional French specialties, presents superb buffets and an ever changing a la carte menu. Promotions such as French Cheese and the Festival of Oysters are now regular fixtures on the dining calendar. Sunday brunch is also a firm favorite with a large following.

For those seeking more Asian flavors, Lemon Grass has some of the finest Thai food in Jakarta supplemented by a variety of Southeast Asian specialities. AOI features Japanese delicacies such as sushi and teppanyaki.
