LCGC Discounts Reach Rp 7 Million in April 2026
JAKARTA – The low cost green car (LCGC) segment remains one of the key contributors to the growth of entry-level car sales in Indonesia up to April 2026. Relatively affordable prices, efficient fuel consumption, and ease of use keep models in this class popular, especially among first-time car buyers. Entering the second quarter, several authorised dealers (APM) are still providing various attractive offers, including price cuts to attract consumer interest, whether through cash or credit purchases. “For the Calya, it’s Rp 7 million and Rp 6 million for the Agya. This is for 2026 VIN,” a Toyota salesperson told Kompas.com on Sunday (5/4/2026). “Ready stock. There are no 2025 VIN units,” he added. Similar discounts are offered for the Daihatsu Sigra, particularly the 1.0L engine variant. Meanwhile, Honda is providing simpler price reductions for the Brio, which has long been known as one of the best-selling models in its class. As a note, the amount of discount may vary by dealer and region, as well as depending on unit availability. In addition, discounts are generally larger for cars with older production years, in line with dealers’ needs to clear stock.
