LCGC Discounts in May 2026 Continue, Reaching Rp 10 Million
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The low cost green car (LCGC) segment remains one of the key contributors to the growth in entry-level car sales in Indonesia up to the beginning of the second quarter of 2026.
Affordable prices, efficient fuel consumption, and ease of use make models in this class continue to be popular, especially among first-time car buyers.
Entering the second quarter, several authorised dealers (APM) are still offering various attractive deals, including price cuts to attract consumer interest, whether through cash or credit purchases.
“For the Calya, it’s Rp 8 million and for the Agya, Rp 6 million. This is for 2026 VIN,” said a Toyota salesperson when contacted by Kompas.com on Monday (4/5/2026).
A larger discount is offered by the Daihatsu Sigra, which now receives up to Rp 10 million off, depending on the variant and unit availability.
Meanwhile, Honda is providing a more modest price cut for the Brio, which has long been known as one of the best-selling models in its class.
“The Honda Brio discount is Rp 5 million, that’s from the dealer. Later, we can apply for an additional cut from the leasing company worth Rp 5 million, but I need to confirm that,” said a Honda salesperson.
In addition, promotional programmes may change at any time in line with each authorised dealer’s (APM) policies.
