Lazismu Records Rp 6 Billion Raised for NTT Earthquake Emergency Programme
Following the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Muhammadiyah immediately mobilised resources from all elements within the Disaster Resilience Institute (LRB), commonly known as the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Centre (MDMC), across various regions.
Through Circular Letter number 18/EDR/I.0/H/2026 dated 20 August 2026, the Central Leadership of Muhammadiyah instructed all mosques to conduct Friday prayer alms collections for humanitarian aid for the NTT earthquake disaster, which took place on Friday, 21 August 2026. In addition to the Type-1 Fixed EMT, healthcare services are also provided by a Mobile EMT targeting inaccessible displacement sites. This Mobile EMT team was deployed from various Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah hospitals across Indonesia.
