The Muhammadiyah Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah Institution (LazisMu) at the central level has officially distributed funds to boards, bodies, and autonomous organisations within the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership structure. The fund distribution took place during the Ramadan 1447 H review agenda held at Muhammadiyah University Tangerang.

Ahmad Imam Mujadid Rais, Chairman of the LazisMu Central Board of Directors, stated that the fund distribution represents concrete support from LazisMu for strengthening Muhammadiyah’s programmes.

“The funds distributed amounted to Rp17,076,983,042 for boards, bodies, and organisations, with varying amounts based on each institution’s programmes,” said Ahmad Imam Mujadid Rais.

Prior to distribution, all funds underwent rigorous screening and assessment stages by the LazisMu Board of Directors and management. This process was conducted to ensure that fund allocation and utilisation truly aligned with zakat beneficiary classifications and complied with all Islamic law provisions.
