Law Studies at UBSI Prepare Professional Graduates Ready for the Workforce
Amidst regulatory changes, technological advancements, and the increasing demand from companies for legal personnel, the Law Department has become a programme with expanding career prospects. Today, law graduates are required not only in courtrooms or judicial institutions but also in corporations, startups, government agencies, banking, and the digital industry.
To address this need, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Cikarang campus offers a Law Study Programme designed to produce professional, adaptive graduates ready to face workforce challenges. As the business world evolves, the need for legal professionals continues to rise, as almost every organisation requires human resources capable of understanding regulations, drafting contracts, providing legal opinions, resolving disputes, and ensuring operational compliance.
As a Creative Digital Campus, UBSI Cikarang implements learning that is not only theory-oriented but also focuses on practice and case studies. Students are trained to analyse legal issues in society and the business world, learning how law is applied in real-world conditions. The curriculum covers criminal law, civil law, business law, administrative law, and labour law, supplemented by essential skills such as legal drafting, case analysis, public speaking, negotiation, professional communication, problem-solving, and professional ethics.

Supported by a Blended Learning system and modern facilities, the campus is located within the Cikarang industrial area, providing students with direct exposure to the relationship between law and business needs. Additionally, the BSI Career Centre (BCC) supports career development through job vacancies, internship programmes, career training, seminars, and competency certifications.
Hasan Basri, Head of the UBSI Cikarang campus, emphasised that legal education must evolve alongside the needs of society and industry. “Legal learning must be able to provide understanding that is not merely theoretical, but also builds students’ ability to face real problems. With a practical approach, students will be better prepared to enter the professional world,” Basri stated.
