Law Minister hears notaries’ complaints through ‘There’s Always a Solution’ forum

Semarang (ANTARA) – Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas heard complaints from notaries attending the Indonesian Notary Association Congress and offered various solutions to the issues raised.

Speaking at the ‘There’s Always a Solution’ forum, organised by the Ministry of Law in Semarang on Friday, the minister said the event served as a public complaints channel held regularly every Friday.

He said a range of problems and complaints had been raised at the forum, concerning both the Ministry of Law and other ministries. Issues involving other ministries, he said, would be referred to the relevant institutions.

He invited members of the public to attend the forum and raise issues that fall within the Ministry of Law’s duties and functions.

“Rather than posting negative things on social media, it is better to come and discuss them directly,” he said.

He said solutions would be provided at the forum on the same day.

According to the minister, this was the 22nd time the Ministry of Law had held ‘There’s Always a Solution’.

He said the forum would continue as part of efforts to proactively reach out and address the various problems faced by the public.

He added that this approach was important so the government would not simply wait for complaints, but would actively engage with people and listen to their concerns.
