Launching Virocroft, Viro Expands Business into Prefabricated Modular Building Segment
Jakarta, VIVA – Specialty building materials provider, Viro, is now expanding to become a player in the premium modular construction industry, with the launch of its latest innovation, ViroFab, as a luxury prefab modular building system.
Executive Vice President of PT Polymindo Permata, Johan Yang, stated that as part of this launch, Viro is also introducing TenuNyaman, affirmed as the first Luxury Prefab Modular Building from ViroFab.
“As a pilot project for Virocroft’s debut product (Bungalow Class), TenuNyaman serves as tangible proof that the modular system is not just a concept, but has already been built and can be experienced directly by the public,” said Johan in his statement on Saturday, 25 April 2026.
He explained that this journey began with PT Polymindo Permata, Viro’s parent company, which was established in 1985 and has over 40 years of experience. Since 1998, Viro has been known as a brand for specialty building materials with a deep understanding of building codes, testing standards, and construction quality.
Through ViroFab, Johan assured that all this experience has been integrated into a modern modular building system that is more precise, efficient, and controlled.
“ViroFab is the logical next step for us. After decades of building expertise in construction materials, we are now bringing that discipline into a more integrated prefabricated modular building system,” he said.
The first product introduced is Virocroft, which is a category of luxury bungalows with specifications:
1–2 storeys
Area up to 200 m²
Specifically designed for tropical resort settings
Ideal for boutique hotels and resorts in locations such as Labuan Bajo, Sumba, to Lombok
Virocroft is part of the ViroFab roadmap, which will expand to Viroalta (2-storey villa, 300–500 m², release in August 2026 in Bali), Virolux (luxury main residence up to 4 storeys, >500 m²).
TenuNyaman: First Luxury Prefab Modular Building
In this launch, Johan emphasised that TenuNyaman is a Luxury Prefab Modular Building, and not merely a show unit or experimental concept.
TenuNyaman is a direct representation of the ViroFab implementation, showing that the modular system can deliver exclusive and characterful designs, quality equal to or surpassing conventional construction, and that prefab technology can be applied to premium projects.
