Launching AIcosystem, Telkom Ready to Seize AI Opportunities Across Various Industrial Sectors
The rapid adoption of digital technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia is driving the need for AI solutions that are robust, integrated, and adaptive to technological developments and industry needs. Responding to this requirement, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has introduced AIcosystem, an integrated AI ecosystem that unites AI capabilities within the TelkomGroup to support the utilisation of AI across various sectors and deliver relevant solutions for industry and societal needs.
As part of strengthening TelkomGroup’s AI capabilities, AIcosystem was launched by Telkom’s President Director Dian Siswarini, Telkom’s Digital IT Director Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, and the President’s Special Envoy for Youth Generation and Arts Workers Development, Raffi Ahmad, in Jakarta on Thursday (4/6). In line with the ongoing digital transformation being pursued by TelkomGroup, the presence of AIcosystem affirms Telkom’s position as Indonesia’s End-to-End AI Ecosystem Enabler through comprehensive AI capability development, spanning infrastructure, platforms, and solutions to applications.
Telkom’s President Director Dian Siswarini asserted that AIcosystem represents Telkom’s commitment to presenting AI as a foundation for digital transformation that delivers real value for Indonesia. AIcosystem also positions TelkomGroup as a collaborator and bridge for all levels of society in optimising the use of AI in business and daily activities.
‘AI is not just a current technological development, but a new foundation for digital transformation that needs to be built collaboratively and sustainably. With AIcosystem, we are uniting all of TelkomGroup’s AI strengths so that Indonesia has a solid, integrated AI ecosystem capable of creating real impact for society, the business world, and the nation’s competitiveness,’ said Dian before TelkomGroup’s young digital talents and media representatives at the AIcosystem launch event titled ‘Beyond Innovation, Impact for the Nation.’
AIcosystem is designed as an AI ecosystem that orchestrates various TelkomGroup capabilities in a strategic direction to deliver more relevant and value-added solutions. Through AIcosystem, AI development previously conducted by each Operating Company can now be connected and move more synergistically to deliver scalable innovations for corporate, government, and public needs. This ecosystem gathers TelkomGroup’s AI portfolio, ranging from the Telkom AI Center of Excellence, Telkomsel AI, Neutra Compute from NeutraDC, AI Infomedia, and AI Digiserve, to Telkom University.
