Latest Update! Village Cooperative Managers to Commence Duties on 25 September
The managers of the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) are set to begin their duties on 25 September 2026. This information was announced directly by the Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Juliantono, during a meeting with the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN).
“The target for accelerating the manager appointments is also expected to be no later than 25 September,” Ferry stated in an Instagram post, as reported on Sunday (20/9/2026).
He explained that it is expected that verification and validation processes will have been completed, alongside the parallel completion of evaluations by the BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency). Consequently, it is hoped that placement by PT Agrinas can be carried out by 25 September 2026.
The meeting also addressed several matters regarding KDKMP managers, including their placement, as well as the scale of salaries and allowances they will receive.
“We must decide on the plan for manager placement,” said Ferry. “Including the amount of salary, allowances, and other related matters, which must be decided in this afternoon’s meeting.”
During a working meeting with Commission VI on Thursday (17/9/2026), Ferry also revealed that the Decree (SK) for the village cooperative managers is targeted for issuance in the near future. The Decree will include details regarding their salaries.
However, he did not specify the exact amount of the salaries and allowances to be provided.
“The Presidential Regulation (Perpres) on the governance of the Merah Putih Village Cooperatives has already been issued, so the processing of the Decree can proceed. Within one or two days, the appointment Decree for the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperative managers, including details on salaries and allowances, will be published,” Ferry said.
