The Blok 15 Gelora Bung Karno Service Post resumed operations today, Monday (22/6/2026), from 11:00 WIB. The post aims to collect data on former Hotel Sultan workers. Located in Parking Building A, opposite Istora GBK, the post will be open daily as a centre for information, communication, and follow-up actions for workers after the management of Blok 15 was returned to the state. The Blok 15 Service Post was initially opened by the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre (PPKGBK) in February 2026, approximately five months before the execution. From the outset, the post was prepared to serve the data collection of workers, vendors, tenants, residents, and other parties affected by the Blok 15 management transition process. When the eviction of the former Hotel Sultan at Blok 15 was carried out on Thursday (18/6/2026), the post’s service function was temporarily transferred and handled by a Crisis Center team. The transfer ensured that information and service needs during the execution process remained coordinated. Head of the Blok 15 GBK Transition Team, Hendry Arisandi, stated that the reopening of the post is initially focused on obtaining complete data regarding the number of former Hotel Sultan workers, their employment relationship status, and their labour rights. “Starting Monday, 22 June, at 11:00 WIB, the Blok 15 Service Post in Parking Building A, opposite Istora GBK, will resume daily operations. We urge all former Hotel Sultan workers to report immediately so they can be fully registered,” said Hendry. According to Hendry, data collection is necessary because there are still discrepancies in information regarding the exact number of former Hotel Sultan workers and their respective employment statuses. The data will later be verified and followed up in accordance with labour regulations. “The post will record identities, employment status, work history, and other necessary information. All reports will be verified and followed up according to applicable labour regulations. Therefore, we hope workers will come in person and bring their supporting documents,” he said. Hendry emphasised that the data collection is not merely an administrative necessity but serves as the basis for PPKGBK and related agencies to obtain an accurate picture of the workers’ conditions. With accurate data, every follow-up action can be carried out measurably and not based on confusing information. Concern for the fate of the workers was previously affirmed by Deputy Minister of the State Secretariat Juri Ardiantoro after the execution on Thursday (18/6). Juri requested that PPKGBK not only collect data but also genuinely pay attention to the fate of the workers so they do not become sacrificed parties after the state asset takeover. “We do not want them to become sacrificed parties after this asset takeover. We want to humanise them. We will collect their data, invite communication, and open the widest possible communication channels so they can connect directly with PPKGBK,” said Juri. President Director of PPKGBK Rakhmadi Afif Kusumo previously also stated that worker data submitted through the post will be re-verified. PPKGBK has coordinated with the Ministry of Manpower to ensure the handling of workers’ rights is carried out according to regulations, including obligations that remain the responsibility of the previous management. PPKGBK urges all former Hotel Sultan workers, whether permanent, contract, outsourced, or with other forms of employment relationships, to immediately come to the Blok 15 Service Post in Parking Building A, opposite Istora GBK, starting Monday (22/6) at 11:00 WIB. Workers are expected to bring personal identification and documents related to their employment relationship so that the data collection and verification process can be carried out more quickly.
