Latest TNI Mutations Target Jaya and Mandala Trikora Commanders

Jakarta — TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto announced promotions and mutations based on a decision letter signed in Jakarta on Monday, 9 March 2026. Among those receiving promotion was Major General Lucky Avianto.

From Commander of Kodam (Regional Military Command) XXIV/Mandala Trikora, Avianto was promoted to Commander of Pangkogabwilhan (Joint Regional Defence Command) III. Avianto, who replaces Lieutenant General Bambang Trisnohadi, will assume the rank of three-star general in his new position.

Avianto is a recipient of the Adhi Makayasa award from the Military Academy (Akmil) class of 1996. He served as the first Mandala Trikora Regional Commander overseeing South Papua Province. The name Mandala Trikora derives from Operation Trikora and the Mandala Command, which was led by Major General Soeharto.
