Latest on Roy Suryo and Dr Tifa Regarding the Jokowi Diploma Case

Roy Suryo and Dr Tifa have been arrested by Polda Metro Jaya in relation to the case involving allegations of a fake diploma belonging to the 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). This was disclosed by Roy Suryo’s lawyer, Petrus Selestinus, to reporters on Friday (19/6/2026).

“Today, Friday 19 June 2026, at around 07.00, our client Roy Suryo Notodiprojo was informed by his wife that he had been arrested by Polda Metro Jaya investigators. At the same time, we also received information that Tifauzia Tyassuma was also arrested,” said Petrus, as reported by detikNews.

Meanwhile, Dr Tifa’s lawyer, Azis Yanuar, stated that his client had already been taken to Polda Metro Jaya. “The information was conveyed directly by Dr Tifa. After being taken to Polda, Dr Tifa showed evidence that she was currently within the Polda Metro Jaya premises. Dr Tifa appeared to be in front of a laptop and conveyed that she was taking her doctoral examination at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (FKUI) from a room at Polda Metro Jaya,” said Azis.
