Latest iPhone Price Soars Past Rp 50 Million, Here's What We Know About the iPhone 18

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Prices of the iPhone 18 and Apple’s first foldable phone have been revealed ahead of tomorrow’s launch (9/9/2026). Two iPhone 18 models are reportedly set to see price increases over their predecessors.

One leak comes from Yousif Ayman, who disclosed pricing from Vodafone Egypt’s website. He revealed that the iPhone Ultra, Apple’s foldable phone, will be priced at EGP 155,750 (around Rp 53.8 million).

Meanwhile, user @ev_downunder reported that the iPhone Ultra 256GB will sell for AUD 3,700 (around Rp 46.9 million), the 512GB variant at AUD 4,200 (around Rp 53.3 million), and the 1TB version at AUD 4,700 (around Rp 59.6 million).

Ayman also revealed that the iPhone 18 Pro will be priced at EGP 98,000 (around Rp 33 million) and the Pro Max at EGP 105,000 (around Rp 36.3 million), as quoted by GSM Arena on Tuesday (8/9/2026).

Both models represent increases over their predecessors. The iPhone 17 Pro 256GB was priced at EGP 88,800 (around Rp 30.7 million) and the iPhone 17 Pro Max at EGP 94,400 (around Rp 32.6 million).

The price hikes are not entirely surprising. TrendForce previously estimated that the bill of materials (BoM) for the iPhone 18 Pro could be 40% higher than that of the iPhone 17 Pro.

Analysts have also predicted that the latest Pro models with 256GB of storage could be priced at US$1,400 (around Rp 24.6 million).

According to circulating information, the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Ultra will be available for pre-order two days later, around Friday (11/9/2026).

It should be noted that all these prices remain speculative. There will be differences in pricing across countries due to varying tax burdens.

So we will need to wait until Apple officially releases all its phones in Indonesia.
