Latest Fuel Price Update: Comparison of Pertamina, BP, and Vivo

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Fuel prices have once again drawn attention following an adjustment by PT Pertamina (Persero), effective from 4 May 2026. This adjustment primarily affects several non-subsidised fuels, while some other products remain unchanged. This situation requires the public to once more scrutinise fuel price comparisons at various public fuelling stations (SPBU). According to Pertamina’s official website on Monday (4/5/2026), the price increase applies to Pertamax Turbo, which rises from Rp 19,400 per litre to Rp 19,900 per litre. In addition to Pertamina, fuel prices at private SPBUs are also noteworthy. At the BP AKR network, the price of BP Ultimate Diesel, previously tagged at Rp 14,620 per litre, is now at Rp 30,890 per litre. Meanwhile, at Vivo Energy Indonesia SPBUs, the Diesel Primus Plus (CN 51) type has also seen a price hike, from Rp 14,610 to Rp 30,890 per litre.
