Latest Cooking Oil Prices for All Types, Priced at This in Jakarta

The Trade Minister Budi Santoso has assured that there are no plans to increase the HET for the people’s cooking oil brand Minyakita, despite rising costs from plastic packaging. Citing data from the SP2KP of the Ministry of Trade, the price of bulk palm cooking oil rose 0.45% week-on-week from 14 April to 21 April 2026, from Rp19,385 to Rp19,473. Month-on-month from March to April, it increased by 2.96% from Rp18,913 to Rp19,473. For Minyakita, the price fluctuated by 0.42% from March to April, from Rp15,980 to Rp15,942. CNBC Indonesia observations at Pondok Labu market show traders selling 2-litre Minyakita for Rp21,000 to Rp22,000 on average. Premium branded cooking oil is priced at Rp330,000 per jerrycan, while bulk oil is sold for Rp21,000 per kilogram. One grocery store trader, Tehwan, at Pondok Labu market, said prices have not yet been raised. “Our prices haven’t gone up and are above HET because it’s calculated including delivery costs, but premium packaged oil or Bimoli is already sold for Rp45,000,” he told CNBC Indonesia. Meanwhile, observations at a modern retail supermarket in Cilandak, South Jakarta, show 2-litre Sunco packaged oil sold for Rp49,000. Tropical oil in a 1-litre bottle is sold for Rp25,500.
