The woman from Bandung Regency was found in a distressing condition after allegedly being confined and abused by her own boyfriend, Taufik Hidayat (TH). After years of losing contact with her family, YTR is now undergoing intensive care and recovery in hospital.

Amid her struggle to recover from various physical injuries and trauma, the latest news about YTR’s condition has begun to emerge. Several posts by her family on social media show the victim’s progress, which is slowly improving although she still faces a long recovery process.

Family member Erni shared the latest development on social media. In an uploaded video, YTR is seen being spoon-fed by her mother, Yuli. The moment marked a deeply emotional reunion after the family waited years to be together with her again. “Thank you, God, after years of waiting, I can see the smiles of Sister Yuli and Brother Irin, even with Vita in this condition… Vita, believe that happiness will continue to flow for you, dear,” Erni wrote, as quoted from Instagram on Wednesday, 24 June 2026.

Although her physical condition has not fully recovered, the post shows that YTR is now surrounded by family who continue to provide support during her treatment. In another post, Erni also revealed a touching side of YTR. Despite her condition, the victim is said to still be thinking about her family. “In this condition, she is still praying for her grandfather and asked me to record this video to show him. Vita was sad when she found out her grandmother passed away in 2024, even though I was still chatting with Vita in 2024. It turns out it wasn’t you replying to the chats all this time, Vita,” Erni revealed.

The post moved many netizens, as YTR had only just learned that her grandmother died in 2024 while she was unable to communicate freely with her family. Previously, Erni also disclosed that YTR is now showing improvement after undergoing a number of medical procedures, although she still requires further care. “Her feet and hands are clean again, and her mum and dad are on standby looking after Vita,” she stated a few days ago.
