Later on Saturday, a member of Aceh's provincial legislative
assembly, Zaini Sulaiman Ishaq, 43, was shot dead by an
unidentified assailant.

The incident occurred at the residence of the United
Development Party legislator, at BPD Meusara Agung housing
complex in Darul Imara district, Aceh Besar, Antara reported.

Aceh Police spokesman Comr. Sudarsono confirmed the incident
and said that Aceh Besar Police were investigating the case.
