Last Peak Day of 2026 Eid Exodus: List of Functional Toll Roads
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Ministry of Transportation, together with the Ministry of Public Works, the National Police Traffic Corps, and toll road operators, predicts that the final peak of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming traffic will occur today, Friday (20/3/2026). To support the smooth journey of homecomers, the Ministry of Public Works is making several sections of toll roads functional, which can be traversed free of charge. In total, there are ten functional toll sections with a length of up to 285.19 kilometres (km). These sections are spread across the Trans Sumatra, Trans Java, and Kalimantan networks. Here is the list of functional toll sections that homecomers can utilise: 1. Sigli–Banda Aceh Toll Road Opened on Section 1 Padang Tiji–Seulimeum spanning 24.67 km. This section can be traversed on both lanes, both lane A and B. 2. Kuala Tanjung–Tebing Tinggi–Parapat Toll Road Functional on Section 4 IC Sinaksak–IC Simpang Panei spanning 12.86 km, and opened for two directions (lanes A and B). 3. Palembang–Betung Toll Road Covering Sections 1 to 4 with a total length of 53.2 km. All lanes are opened for two directions. 4. Serang–Panimbang Toll Road Opened on Section 2 Rangkasbitung–Cileles spanning 24.17 km. This section is only functional in one direction via lane A. Functional on part of Section 3 Cibadak–Akses Karangtengah spanning 4.97 km. Applies to one direction on one lane.
