The food and beverage industry in East Java welcomes the EastFood Indonesia Expo (IIFEX) 2026, an international-scale Business-to-Business (B2B) trade exhibition officially opened today. The exhibition runs until 21 June 2026 at the Grand City Convention Hall, Surabaya.

The event serves as a strategic moment for industry players to expand markets, build partnerships, and accelerate growth in the food and beverage sector, which continues to show a positive trend in Indonesia.

Daud D. Salim, Chief Executive Officer of Krista Exhibitions, stated that through EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026, the group aims to provide a business platform that connects food and beverage industry players from various countries while opening wider cooperation opportunities.

“We hope EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026 can become a catalyst for industry growth, expand business networks, and open greater market access for both national and international businesses,” Salim said in a written statement on Thursday (18/6/2026).

The exhibition successfully features more than 180 exhibitors from both domestic and international markets. The presence of these global industry players not only broadens business networks but also strengthens the exhibition’s position as a cross-border integrative platform designed to unlock export opportunities for Indonesia’s leading products to the global market.

Furthermore, the event is supported by the active participation of 30 selected Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under a mentorship programme. These MSMEs receive a golden opportunity to introduce their quality local products directly to a wider market and a more mature business ecosystem.

One of the flagship agendas within the EastFood Indonesia Expo 2024 series is the Bakat Boga Challenge 2026, a prestigious culinary competition that originated in Yogyakarta and has successfully attracted culinary talents from various regions across Indonesia. Designed by professional chefs, the competition provides a platform for participants to showcase creativity, technical skills, and innovation in creating high-quality culinary products.

Competition categories include Lapis Surabaya & Bolu Gulung Keju, Traditional Jajanan Pasar, Western Seafood Spaghetti & Chicken Main Course, as well as The Best Risoles & Classic Chiffon Cake. Participants will be judged on taste, processing technique, hygiene, creativity, and presentation quality according to professional culinary industry standards.

Beyond competitions, visitors can also join various Cooking Demo and Baking Demo sessions featuring professional chefs, industry practitioners, and leading brands such as IndoBake, Kewpie, Rich’s, and other food and beverage companies.

As part of the EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026 series, the Indonesia Coffee Art Battle (ICAB) presents workshops and talkshows throughout the exhibition. This programme is designed to enrich the knowledge of coffee industry players, baristas, roasters, F&B business owners, and coffee enthusiasts through educational sessions led by national coffee practitioners and experts.

To maximise transaction and business collaboration opportunities, EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026 features a Business Matching programme that allows exhibitors to meet directly with potential business partners, distributors, importers, and investors. The programme is designed to create more effective business interactions and generate sustainable cooperation.

The exhibition also pays special attention to the Hosted Buyer Programme, an exclusive initiative that invites potential buyers from domestic and international markets to participate in scheduled business meetings with exhibitors. Through this programme, EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026 seeks to create more targeted and productive business connections, thereby opening strategic partnership opportunities, expanding access to global markets, strengthening international trade networks, and increasing transaction and export potential for food, beverage, packaging technology, and related supporting industries.

EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026 invites food and beverage industry players, including distributors, importers, exporters, business owners, HORECA (hotel, restaurant, and café) professionals, modern retail networks, MSMEs, investors, industry associations, academics, and business decision-makers from home and abroad seeking partnership opportunities, innovation, and business development in the food and beverage sector.

As the largest food and beverage exhibition in East Java, EastFood Indonesia Expo 2026 serves as a strategic meeting hub for industry players. Presenting an ecosystem from upstream to downstream, this international-scale exhibition simultaneously reinforces Surabaya’s strategic position as a major trade hub and the largest barometer for the food and beverage industry in eastern Indonesia.
