Larger Scale: ARCH:ID 2026 Targets 31,000 Visitors
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - ARCH:ID 2026 is being held as one of the key events in Indonesia’s architecture, interior, and building materials industry. The exhibition will run from 23-26 April 2026 at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.
Organised by the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI) together with CIS Exhibition, ARCH:ID 2026 arrives on a larger scale.
This year, the exhibition features 725 booths and more than 180 participants occupying an area of 18,000 square metres.
ARCH:ID 2026 is targeted to attract around 31,000 visitors over the four days of the event. Visitor registration can be done via arch.id/visit2026, while conference tickets are available at arch.id/conference2026.
Other programmes that will enliven the event include Featured Exhibition, Business Matching, a Hackathon competition, and the Best Booth Award.
More than 60 architects from across generations are involved in curating the 8,090 square metre exhibition area, including Andra Matin, Muhammad Sagitha, M. Ikhsan Hamiru, and Artiandi Akbar, along with communities such as Ibu Arsitek, IALRC, and Scootarch.
“Through a collaborative approach between brands and architects, we want to encourage each booth not only to appear as a product display space, but as a work with a strong narrative and design quality,” said Project Director of PT CIS Exhibition, R. Arief Sofyan Rudiantoro, quoted on Monday (20/04/2026).
He added that the presence of the Curated Best Booth Award serves as a form of appreciation while adding value for brands in building positioning and experience at ARCH:ID 2026.
ARCH:ID 2026 adopts the theme “Synthesis Scheme - Architecture of Engagement”, positioning architecture as an open and collaborative ecosystem.
The exhibition is curated by Afwina Kamal, Trianzani Sulshi, and Dhanie Syawalia. Through this theme, architecture is viewed as the result of involvement from various disciplines, not just the work of individual architects.
Through this interdisciplinary approach, ARCH:ID becomes a meeting space for various expertise to form more comprehensive spatial experiences.
The international conference at ARCH:ID 2026 will take place over two days, divided into The Urban Forum and The Architectural Forum. These forums will feature speakers from various countries discussing architecture and urban issues.
Some international speakers include Florence Chan from Hong Kong, Manuelle Gautrand from France, Marina Tabassum from Bangladesh, and Agnes Soh from Singapore.
“Synthesis Scheme: Architecture of Engagement is not just a theme, but a mindset shift that we really need,” said Irene Umar.
As a B2B exhibition, ARCH:ID also serves as a platform for product launches, knowledge exchange, and professional networking. The products displayed cover renewable and sustainable architecture, smart buildings, modular solutions, and BIM (Building Information Modelling).
