Large-Scale Demonstration in London: Thousands of Police Deployed

The protest was triggered by Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, better known by the alias Tommy Robinson. The crowd is estimated to have come from various regions of England to attend the event which was centred in the capital. They also expressed support and praise for Robinson during their journey to the protest site. Police described this security operation as an “unprecedented” measure to maintain a conducive situation.
