Landslide Victims in Pasirlangu Receive Clean Water Assistance and School Supplies

BRI Insurance distributed aid to residents affected by a landslide disaster in Pasirlangu village, Cisarua subdistrict, West Bandung regency. The assistance, part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, comprised clean water sanitation facilities and school supplies for children affected by the disaster.

The aid distribution took place at the Pasirlangu village office compound on Friday, 6 March 2026. The event was attended by BRI Insurance Chief Executive Budi Legowo, West Bandung Vice Regent Asep Ismail, Member of Parliament for West Java Electoral District II Rajiv Singh, Head of the Food Security and Agriculture Office of West Bandung Regency Lukmanul Hakim, and Pasirlangu Village Head Nur Awaludin Lubis.

BRI Insurance Chief Executive Budi Legowo expressed deep sympathy and concern over the landslide disaster affecting Pasirlangu residents.

He stated that the company understood the difficult circumstances faced by communities dealing with natural disasters. Consequently, meeting basic needs such as clean water and supporting children’s education became priorities.

“Through assistance in the form of water distribution systems from storage tanks to residents’ homes and school supplies for children, we hope this aid can help fulfil the community’s daily needs. We also want to ensure children can continue learning well and face the future with full optimism,” Budi said.

He added that support from various parties, however small in form, was expected to strengthen the community’s spirit to recover from the disaster’s impact.

Meanwhile, West Bandung Vice Regent Asep Ismail appreciated the prompt action and care demonstrated by BRI Insurance alongside various parties that have collaborated in assisting Pasirlangu residents.
