Landslide on Bajawa-Ende Route Following NTT Earthquake, Road Completely Cut Off

A landslide has completely cut off access along the Ende-Bajawa road in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara, following a magnitude 7 earthquake on Saturday (15/8). The incident caused traffic to come to a standstill, with a number of cars and motorcycles held up near the landslide site. The Ministry of Public Works has deployed heavy equipment to clear the earth material covering the road, while Minister of Transportation Dudy continues to monitor the condition of transport facilities and infrastructure in the affected areas. Residents have been urged to remain vigilant against possible aftershocks and to follow official information from authorities.
