A landslide has been reported in the Bromo area, specifically around the Bukit Kedaluh or Bukit King Kong area in Pasuruan Regency, East Java. As a result, several vehicles were buried by the landslide material.

The Head of Public Relations of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (BB TNBTS), Endrip Wahyutama, said that the landslide occurred this morning at around 05:30 WIB.

“We would like to inform you that a landslide occurred on the road section around the Bukit Kedaluh viewpoint, with an estimated width of approximately 15 x 10 meters,” said Endrip on Wednesday (25/2).

Endrip said that there were no casualties as a result of this incident. However, several motorcycles were reported to be buried by the material. Some of them have been successfully evacuated.
